Getting there is most of the journey

Finally I am getting around to writing an entry. Technically it is day two of the trip, as all,it seems we have been doing is travelling. the flight left Melbourne just after midnight on the 12th. The trip consisted of two roughly 6 hour legs with a stopover in Singapore.

Singapore air remains quite comfortable as they have resisted the urge to pack economy tight. Amelie loved having her very own screen to watch anything she wanted. I am assumed the Magic House was the best.

Our Singapore stopover was largely I eventful until Amelie found a free foot massage machine. It claimed to be reiki massage. The spelling should start with a "w" . What basically happened is this machine clasped your leg, then proceed to grind relentlessly at the bottom of the foot with a small roller that felt more like a pizza cutter than relaxing massage. Returning to ones shoes only provided little relief as walking remained awkward for several minutes. It was worth the money we paid for the experience.

Hey this wrecki massage actually is extreme!

Flight two saw us arrive in Seoul a little late due to inclement weather that the plane diverted around. We met the INKAS volunteer, Calvin. Who guided us towards money exchange and mobile phone hire before a most welcome limousine ride to our apartment.

The apartment is great. It has met and exceeded all expectations. A bit on the small side, but enough room for the four of us and the views North and north-west to mountains surrounding the city.
